How much does a custom website cost?
Most custom websites run $3,500 to $12,000+ as a one-time build, depending on size and complexity. Typical small business sites land between $5,000 and $8,000. Larger eCommerce, multi-location, or franchise builds run higher. Every quote is fixed-scope, with no surprise add-ons.
How long does it take to build a custom website?
Most launches go live in 2 to 3 weeks from kickoff. Larger or more complex builds (eCommerce with custom catalog logic, multi-location architectures, deep integrations) can take 4 to 8 weeks. We give a firm timeline at the start and hit it.
Why fully custom code instead of WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace?
Page builders and template platforms generate bloated, slow code that hurts Core Web Vitals, SEO, and conversion. Fully custom code gives us complete control over performance, schema, structure, and animations. The difference shows up in rankings, page speed scores, and conversion rates within months.
Do you build on WordPress at all?
Only when there is a specific reason: for example, a client who needs a non-technical team to publish blog posts daily. When we do build on WordPress, it is a hand-coded custom theme, not a builder or pre-made template. No Elementor, Divi, or Beaver Builder.
Is hosting included? Who hosts the site after launch?
Hosting is not bundled. You own the site outright and can host it wherever you want. We typically recommend Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, or a managed VPS depending on your needs, and we will set it up for you at cost.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes. Redesigns are about half our work. We audit your existing site for SEO equity, redirect map every URL, preserve rankings through the transition, and ship a custom-coded replacement. Redesigns typically run on the same $3,500 to $12,000+ scale as new builds.
What happens if I want to edit content later?
You can edit through a simple CMS we set up, or none at all if you prefer. For bigger changes, you can call us or anyone else. Your code is yours.
